Men have come to speak of revelation as long ago given and done, as if God were dead. It is the office of a true teacher to show us that God is, not was, that he speaketh, not spake...

The need was never greater of new revelation than now.

great start to a new year.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Yeah it's a little late, but better than never.

Well I'm back in Rexburg for my last semester of college...ever! I must say it will be bittersweet as it gets closer and closer to the end of it. But we'll deal with that when and as it comes.

IT IS SOO COLD. I've never experienced it this cold here before, and I've been here for many-a-winter. I've dealt with more snow than we have here right now, but it's never been this cold. I mean frigid. I mean frost-bitingly-cold!! I sleep with layers; heater a'blazin. But I haven't slipped on the ice yet! How did the pioneers ever do it??

School is going great. My last first week of school ever?...completed. It should be a great semester! Classes:

*Advanced Graphic Design
*Public Speaking
*Public Relations
*Fine Arts 100 (a required class I've postponed for 5 years)
*I-comm Advertising
and
*Personal Finance (which I actually am enjoying! Thanks Dad!)

Now onto more important news. Tonight I got to meet one of my favorite artists, Brooke White! She got fifth place on American Idol two years ago (the year David Cook won) and I fell in love with her then. Her album High Hopes and Heartbreak is one of my favorite cd's ever. She came here to BYU-Idaho tonight for a really awesome concert! A few friends and I went to it and it was really fun. She's really funny and just doesn't take herself too seriously. It was awesome. Anyway, at the end she announced she was going to be in the lobby signing autographs and what not so we waited in the hour long line just to meet her. I gave her a hug and told her how sad I was that she didn't win and she said she was glad she didn't! And then, obviously, with a hundred people behind us in line, since I knew she was from Phoenix we got to talking about Arizona and locations and blah blah blah. It was awesome. She even signed her cd for me! Holla!! Great night.

Hi Craig. You're welcome on the finance class. I was just tickled when I called to pay your tuition and learned that you had received the Pell Grant. congrats. Put that extra money to financial good use. Love Dad
