Men have come to speak of revelation as long ago given and done, as if God were dead. It is the office of a true teacher to show us that God is, not was, that he speaketh, not spake...

The need was never greater of new revelation than now.

donovan craziness.

Warning: This post is ALL about my nephew Donovan and his visit here for Thanksgiving (with his parents of course.)

For Thanksgiving this year my brother and his family in Arizona got to come home to visit. Scott, Kiana, and my nephew Donovan got here late Wednesday night. It was a fun five days. Lots of relaxing, food (I am now a Super Taqueria convert...it's true Robin...), and obsessing over Donovan.

Donovan is 19 months old and hilarious. He points at everything and says what it is, including "Uncle"...and then after being prompted, "Craig." It's great. Also, everything is the color white. I tried to teach him different colors, but he just wouldn't budge.

"Donovan, what color is this apple?"
"White."

Me with Donovan.

Visiting Nana the first time this visit.

And visiting Papa as well.

Laughing at Papa.

Chillin with Nana. His hair is hilarious in this picture.

We went to the park Thanksgiving afternoon and he was so funny on this. He'd go from happy and laughing...

...to worried and concerned.

Kiana and Donovan.

Getting ready for a walk on the beach.

Scott and Donovan. It was freeezing. Donovan has three hoody's.

This picture wins "best supporting picture" of the trip (in my eyes...).

But the Oscar for "best picture" during their visit goes to the following picture:

I'm glad they got to come visit. It definitely made Thanksgiving more fun.

Now onto Christmas with just me and the folks!
What are we going to do??
