RIDDLE-ME-THIS WEDNESDAY: what's your favorite movie?
The answer to this is very difficult for me because anyone who knows me knows I love the art of film. I have since I was a kid. Sometimes I love a movie for how it's made and looks but I hate the story and plot itself: (i.e. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and A.I.: Artificial Intelligence, complete wastes of anyones time, but visually dazzling.) Or sometimes love the story and plot of a movie but hate how it looks or was made (i.e. The Illusionist and Twilight).
But to answer the question, ultimately it would have to be Big Fish. I
love this movie; ever since the first time I saw it six years ago. I love it love it love it. I love the visual amazement of it all and I love the story. I love the way the popcorn freezes mid-air when Edward Bloom see's the woman he's going to marry someday.
I love the joined-at-the-hip Siamese Vietnamese twins. I love the city of Spectre and that in order to live their you have to be barefoot.
I love the story of the son who doesn't really know who his father is, but ultimately realizes he's known the entire time through his father's stories. I love how it's a movie where parents are actually in love and faithful to each other and don't talk about marriage as if it's a disease. I love the cinematography. I love the music (a regular on my iTunes when I'm doing homework...). I love the book on which it's based. And yes, I even love the Miley Cyrus 6-year-old cameo pre-Hannah Montana.
So yes, Big Fish would be it.

Didn't we see this together with Potter and some other islanders? What's funny is it's my favorite movie too. And I'm not just saying that because I think you're cool and I want to be you. I mean you are cool, but this is purely my own opinion.
never seen it
